Spinpro dewatering tubes are made from high strength geotextiles, Sludgepro Geotextile Tubes have numerous applications for sludge dewatering, reduction and waste water treatment. Our geotextile dewatering tubes are used in a wide variety of applications of liquid solids separation. Geotextile Tubes are the most cost effective solution for dewatering dredged materials, clarifier sludge, tank sludge, or most other liquid solid combinations. In many cases the geotextile tubes are replacing existing equipment such as clarifiers filter presses and DAF units. The geotextile tubes will serve the purpose of both a clarifier and a dewatering device.

Our dewatering tubes are fabricated into various size cylinders under a strict quality controlled process. Sludgepro Geotextile Tubes are designed for high flow rates up to 1500 GPM on our larger series tubes. The sludge enters the geotextile tube through one of the fill ports. The solid particles are trapped inside the geotextile material and the water is forced through the fabric. As the solids accumulate in the dewatering tube they become a filter as the water must pass through the separated sludge before exiting the bag acting as a double filter. Depending on the amount of time the geotextile tube is allowed to sit after filling water will continue to drain from the tube producing up to 80 -90% dry cake allowing them to remain in place to be used as shoreline protection, creating islands, and flow diversion. Once the material has dried to the desired consistency solid materials can be easily excavated, transported and disposed of in an environmentally friendly way saving time and costs.
